The infrastructure project to connect the world through land and sea, known as the Belt and Road Initiative, was launched 10 years ago, in 2013.
The event is the Dame Jillian Sackler Distinguished Lecture on U.S.-China Relations. We are joined by Ambassador J. Stapleton Roy, former United States Ambassador to China; Dr. Paul G. Clifford, Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Havard Kennedy School; and Professor Sarwar Kashmeri; FPA Fellow and author of The Telegram II: The Business of America and China is Business.
The Foreign Policy Association is honored to present a conversation with Major General John Kem, the 51st Commandant of the U.S. Army War College, and Sarwar Kashmeri, Fellow of FPA. The U.S. Army War College is the Army’s prep-school for selecting its future leaders and one of the country’s most important military institutions.
